Buttered zucchini
2 tablespoons butter
3 medium zucchini (ends trimmed and cut into thick rounds)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt & pepper
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (if needed)
Recipe
Slice some zucchini thinly. Place in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons of butter. Drizzle salt, pepper, ground garlic and 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Cover and cook gently until soften. The vegetable must not be allowed to burn in the beginning; if necessary, add more butter. The flavour is so delicate that it can be served as an appetizer or sides.
You can sprinkle some Parmesan on top to give extra flavour.
